Auckland Tower is a visitor’s centre in Bishop Auckland and acts as gateway to Auckland Castle, one of the most important and best-preserved bishops’ palaces in Europe. The centre has a long hall with space for exhibitions, and a ticket office, shop and toilets. The tower offers views over the town and the Auckland Project.
