Newport St Gallery, London by architects Caruso St John wins the 2016 RIBA Stirling Prize
Newport Street Gallery was designed by architects Caruso St John for it’s owner, artist Damien Hirst. The building won the 2016 RIBA Stirling Prize for the best
new building in the UK. With two new sections at either end, the full run of the gallery incorporates listed Victorian industrial buildings, originally used for theatre carpentry
and scenery painting.
